It's a new job away from Managed Services and its contradicting management and time entry. I've secured an in house ICT role for a Business that sells trucks in NZ owned by the one and only Roger Penske. The NZ GM was happy with our work over last weekend when we rolled out 65 new Win 7 Dell PC's and Laptops. I'm traveling to Australia next month all expenses paid to assist our roll out to the divisions over there we have a further +250 machines ready to deploy. I am 42 years old this is the first time I've ever left NZ. I've only been with this company for 3 weeks. Here is a picture of the cartons after we deployed weekend last weekend in the HQ office.

The End of XP
Got a massive project rolling out Windows 7 and new PCs at work at the moment. Windows XP the old stable version of windows will as of this month no longer supported by Microsoft should users continue to use XP from this month on they will run the risk of loosing security because Microsoft will no longer be providing updates. XP was kept on because Windows Vista was a flop it didn't run many apps in the business world similar to the even older Windows ME with ME being the "Millennium Edition" another rush to the market belly flop for Microsoft. Why Windows 7 is being chosen by most of the business's doing upgrades away from XP is because its more secure and stable than the other options available. Even Windows 8 with it's touchscreen technology hasn't taken off in sales so far
